Give in a way that makes a positive difference.  By giving to one of the many NGOs that help street people, who are working towards getting their lives back on track.  These NGOs are the most effective way to get help to those who want and need it most. Some of the avenues are: Shelters for dry foods, clothing, used household goods, working appliances and of course cash donations. They also welcome those who want to donate their Time.  Anything you no longer have use for might be just the thing someone is looking for to rebuild their lives.
